This video will take you through the creation and representation of realistic eyes for video games from start to finish. We will cover some theory at the beginning by analyzing the reference. We will look at the anatomy of the eye and decide the specific characteristics of the eyeball that we need to create with precision. We will move on to Maya for modeling and cover various ways to create eyes. We will discuss the pros and cons of the different ways the eyes can be created and finally we will make a version that will adequately simulate all aspects of the eye. We will then move on to making normal maps, texturing the eyes and representing them in Marmoset Toolbag. Once you have gone through the process, you will have a large set of eyes where you can adjust the textures and modify them as needed.
